Chasing the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the treadmill


A Tone It Up workout x3 and a lot of stretching/rolling. Felt so good.

Tuesday WORKOUT:

Ran 3 miles + abs.

I discovered that I need to watch the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills while running on the treadmill. It goes by so quickly and easily. Seeing an entire cast whose combined body fat is less than mine is great fuel. Oh and it makes me feel proud that I can have conversations without yelling.

Back to Disneyland/our anniversary trip (Part 1 is here).

On Friday, we went to Disneyland for the second day. Unflattering flash.

We also decided that we would drive back on Saturday. Our original plan was to drive home on Sunday, but we really wanted that extra day to recover from a long trip before heading back to work. Plus we wanted to watch the Niners game…

So Saturday we spent the day with Annie (my sister) and her BF.

We all slept in, and then Annie drove us to this awesome fish taco place, Bear Flag Fish Co.ย , for lunch. So amazingly good.

It was in this cute shopping center (Crystal Cove Promenade), right across the street from the beach.

I had to take a photo of this sign though.

Somewhere a hipster is thinking he/she is really clever. but not in an obvious way.

Then we walked across the street to the beach.

And of course we had to take couple photos since it was our anniversary weekend and all.

And then we ended the trip with a quick stop at Sprinkles cupcakes to get something for Annie and her roommates for letting us stay with them. We may have eaten a couple too…

    1. Haha I know right?! I usually find someone who will split with me so we can try 2 cupcakes (buy 2 cupcakes and split them so you each get a half). That’s the only way I get to try multiple flavors without being 500 lbs.

  1. What a fun anniversary weekend!
    Did you download a book to listen to on your drive? It really makes the drive bearable. Sometimes you wish your destination was a little further to finish up a chapter! We always have several books to choose from . Also sunflower seeds and turkey jerky and trail mix are a good snack for road trips! One time we had trail mix with chocolate and yogurt chips that melted in our hot car,
    It was a delicious gooey mess!
    Annie took me to that yummy taco place too!

  2. I always like to watch ESPN while running but watching a show where everyone is teeny tiny would be a good motivator as well! haha.

      1. It really is! I find soccer to be the best sport to watch while running since they are running all over the place as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Watching Brandi Glanville while I work out would DEF make me run faster and harder. That bitch has 0% body fat! I want to know what workouts she’s doing because I only ever see her drinking ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought I was over the cupcake craze until I tried Salted Caramel from Sprinkles. I’ve been recommitted ever since! Which ones did you guys snag? I see some S’mores in there… those are good too!

    1. LOL I know right?! I’m fairly certain that IS all that she “eats” and that’s how she’s so thin and drunk all the time ๐Ÿ˜‰ Salted Caramel! I have to try! We got the S’mores (someone’s quite the expert ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and Strawberry. For my sister’s roommates, we got S’mores, black and white (or w/e that one’s called), and red velvet.

  4. i never cut trips short…i’d probably err on the other side, of extending them as long as possible. ๐Ÿ™‚ if i’m running in the treadmill in the am, i watch the Today show. otherwise, i’m a music gal.

  5. We actually just got our treadmill yesterday and I have yet to run on it! In the past I’ve only ever run on them at the gym and watched whatever was on their tv…now I can watch anything! Woohoo!!!! Sometimes we cut trips short, especially if it’s not working for the girls.
    Fav. cupcake – anything chocolate minty ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. I’ve never had a sprinkles cupcake, but I hear they’re delish! I don’t have a treadmill with TV access (or an ipad), so I use the indoor track. But I did a living room workout to a Glee episode the other day!
